CONDITIONS OF SALE AND EXCHANGES PURCHASING TICKETS

All tickets are sold subject to availability and to these terms and conditions. Tickets are sold on a first come , first served basis. Tickets and seating allocation will be issued under the promoters guiidance to avoid single seat spaces. These terms and conditions should be read carefully prior to purchase and any queries relating to them should be raised with us prior to purchase, as purchase of tickets constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

A valid ticket must be produced to gain entrance to an event. The ticket must be retained by the customer whilst in the venue and be made available for inspection if requested by the venue staff. Failure to produce a valid ticket may result in expulsion from the venue. Please notify us of any access requirements at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to check your tickets as mistakes cannot always be rectified after purchase. Please check your tickets on receipt carefully and contact us immediately if there is a mistake. We will not be responsible for any ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed. The promoters only accept responsibility for tickets bought from one of its own managed sales points.

We reserve the right to provide alternative seats at an event to those specified on the ticket if the staging of the event reasonably requires.

It is the Customer’s responsibility to ascertain whether an event has been cancelled or rescheduled. In such cases the promoter will make all reasonable endeavours to notify customers of the change but cannot guarantee all will be informed before the date of the Event.

It is the Customer’s responsibility to assess the suitability of an Event for children where no official age restriction applies.

COVID 19 SAFETY MEASURES

LD Events will ensure all relevant Covid 19 safety measures are in place at that time. A full risk assessment has been written and submitted for use of hire of the venue and facilities.

Signage and directions will be displayed around the venue as well as hand sanitiser stations for customer use.

TICKET PRICES AND PAYMENT

The price of the ticket shall be the price set at the time we accept your order. All prices set are inclusive of VAT and any booking fees for shows and events at The Oasis Academy.

Ticket prices are subject to change and the promoter reserves the right to change the prices of tickets and/or introduce discounts/special offers which cannot be retrospectively applied to tickets already purchased. All discounts are offered subject to availability and therefore tickets may not be available at all advertised prices at all times.

All tickets sales / purchases are to be made in cash. We do not accept debit/credit card purchases.

REFUNDS / EXCHANGES

Where an event is cancelled or rescheduled by the promoter or venue, where an event is cancelled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control you will be entitled to claim a refund. However an alternative date for the production / show will be set to alleviate this where possible.

Refunds shall only be made to the person who purchased the tickets and be made using the same method as was used to purchase the tickets. These terms and conditions do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. You must have your original paper tickets to hand back for any refunds.

CHANGES TO EVENT

The organiser of the event reserves the right to make alterations to the published event programme and casting where reasonably necessary.

CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION

The venue and promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to a customer or to eject them from the venue in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety, licensing reasons or where a ticket is void. The management may remove a ticket holder who:

Has behaved in the venue in a manner which, in the reasonable opinion of the venue and/or promoter has, or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors; or

uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace; or In the reasonable opinion of the venue and/or promoter is acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs; or fails, when required, to produce proof of identity or age.

You must comply with instructions and directions given by venue staff / stewards / promoters and its staff. No refunds will be given to ticket holders who are refused entry or ejected due to their own behaviour. Children (aged under 16) shall require their own ticket which shall be at full ticket price if no child concessions are available at the time of booking.

Children must be supervised at all times and supervision of children shall be by not less than 1 adult per 5 children. The Management reserves the right to ask parents supervisors to remove children if, in the opinion of the Management, they are causing a disturbance.

RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITIONS

The use of equipment for recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data inside any venue is strictly forbidden. Unauthorised recordings, tapes, films or similar items may be confiscated and destroyed. Any recording made of an event in breach of these conditions shall belong to the promoter. The promoter and venue will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to confiscated items. By attending an event, ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience. The promoter may use such films and recordings (including any copies) without payment. Ticket holders shall not bring into the Venue or display or distribute (whether for free or not) at the event any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials. Mobile telephones and messaging equipment must be switched off during the event.

No personal alcohol is permitted to be brought onto The Oasis Academy site at any time. Smoking is not permitted on The Oasis Academy site, car park or buildings.

The following are not permitted within any venue:

I) animals (with the exception of guide dogs);

2) laser pens

3) Your own food and drink;

4) bottles, cans or glass containers;

5) any item which may be interpreted as a potential weapon including sharp or pointed objects (e.g. knives)

6) illegal substances.

LATECOMERS

Every effort shall be made to admit latecomers to events at a suitable break in the event, which may be the interval, but late admission cannot be guaranteed. Ticket holders may only leave and re-enter the venue during an event at the discretion of the management of the venue or promoters.

CAR PARK

The Oasis Academy and LD Events will not be held responsible or take any responsibility for theft or damage caused to vehicles parked on The Oasis Academy site. Car Parking is done so at your own risk.

The organisers do not accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage or injury of any kind at the event or at the premises in its entirety known as The Oasis Academy car park or any of its buildings. You attend this event at your own risk, and by doing so you consent to filming, photography, audio recording as a member of the audience and use of such material by the organizer for commercial and non-commercial use.

HEALTH / SAFETY & SECURITY

Ticket holders must comply with all relevant health and safety policies, safety announcements and venue regulations whilst attending the event. If ticket holders have any special requirements or concerns about any special effects which may be featured at the event, prior notice should be provided when ordering tickets. Special effects may include, without limitation, sound, audio visual, pyrotechnic effects or lighting effects.

Where possible the promoters will engage the services of a steward for entry in and out of the building and surrounding area.

DATA PROTECTION

Ticket holders personal details shall not be given or used by/to any other third party. Offers and details of forthcoming shows may be sent to you by the promoters. If you do not express your wishes to not receive such details it will be taken as acceptance to receive details only appertaining to LD Events future productions and shows.
